He walked away calmly. There was no glee in killing. There was only the satisfaction of a job done to company specs.
While I like working digitally there’s nothing better than holding your work in your hands, or someone else’s hands. Like grandchildren, or fans. And all the digital work we do is one forgotten password away from being vaporized.
For those reasons, and just being tired of staring at a screen, I’ve been wanting to to do some gouache illustrations. So I used an older digital drawing/painting I did in procreate to inspire a gouache version.
Supplies
None of this is endorsed. You should paint with whatever you can get your hands on.
For the painting I used the 1/2” flat, 1/4” flat, a fine brush from a Jack Richeson Travel Set and M. Graham Gouache. It is painted on Hot Press Canson Watercolor illustration board. The image is coated at the end with Dorland Wax
